LONG BEACH, Calif., Dec. 3, 2007 -- Epson today announced the winners of its CreativeZone Holiday Craft Contest, which invited the paper craft and scrapbook community to submit their winter holiday greeting cards, scrapbook pages or holiday paper craft creations inspired by the free downloadable holiday patterned content on the Epson CreativeZone. The six winning projects and nine finalists are currently featured on the Epson CreativeZone Web site (http://www.epsoncreativezone.com/) with detailed instructions and supply lists for the craft and scrapbook community to re-create the projects this holiday season.
The first prize winner in the greeting card category is Linda Beeson from Ventura, Calif. for her "Sleigh Bells Ring, Are You Listening" greeting card; the second prize winner is Natalie Jordan from Overland Park, Kan. for her "Snow Globe" greeting card.
The first prize winner in the scrapbook page category is Vanessa Reyes from Lakeport, Calif. for her "Believe in the Magic" scrapbook page; second prize winner is Theresa Brennan from Alta Loma, Calif. for her "Dear Santa" scrapbook page.
The first prize winner in the paper craft category is Lisa Hoel from San Jose, Calif. for her "Christmas Goodie Gift Can;" the second prize winner is Amy Rooker-Strawn from Soap Lake, Wash. for her "Count Down to Christmas" advent calendar book.
Contest finalists were evaluated by Epson and several well-known celebrities from the craft and scrapbook community, including Rhonna Farrer, Renee Pearson and Jessica Sprague. First prize winners in each category receive an Epson Stylus Photo R1800 printer and second prize winners receive a PictureMate Dash™.
