“Veterinary medicine can be a really tough field,” says Austin Taylor, hospital administrator of Vista Animal Hospital of Erie, Colorado. Taylor says his main concern, in managing the business side of Vista Animal Hospital, is to make sure it is a good place to work. Given his goals, the last thing Taylor needed was a technology problem, yet that, too, is common in a field where margins can be low.
At Vista Animal Hospital, those problems, including toner issues and noisy rollers, centered around a three-year-old color laser machine that constantly malfunctioned. The toner troubles, noisy printing and printer issues, in general, ended when he installed a new Epson WorkForce® Pro color multi-function printer.
